Charities

We support many charities at Cottam Primary School. This year we have chosen to support the charity 'Headway' so the majority of our fundraising activities will help to support them throughout the year. We display details of them on our "Cottam Cares" board in school. This is situated outside the Reception classroom.

Trainer Tuesday January 2019

Most children came to school in their trainers this Tuesday for a donation to our chosen charity Headway. We raised £137 in total!

Welcome Back Party January 2019

One of our past pupils Holly Moore organised a fantastic party for the children on our first week back in January as part of her bid to become Miss Lancashire 2019. We raised £200 which will go towards our chosen charity Headway.

Christmas Hamper December 2018

Our raffle for the Christmas Hamper was a success raising £108 for our school funds. Thankyou to all who bought tickets!

   

Cookie Sale December 2018

|

Thank you to all who donated cookies for our sale this week. We raised £67 which will be split between our chosen charity Headway and our School Council funds (for wet playtime toys and Library books)

Bad Hair Day December 2018

Children and staff came to school with 'Bad Hair' with an array of colours, styles, wigs and glitter throughout the school they were sure not to be missed! We raised £174 which will go to NSPCC - Well done to everyone who took part and donated.

Bags 2 School November 2018

|

Thank you for all your donations to the Bags 2 School collection. We collectged a hgue 150KG  which has raised a fantastic £60 for our school.

Halloween Dress Up October 2018

Well done to all the children who donated £1 for wearing their Halloween Costume to School on 31st October. We managed to raise a fantastic £176 which will go towards buying new playtime equipment and books.

Cake Sale September 2018

|

What a success ! Thank you to all the parents who put on their baking hats and donated cakes for our sale. We managed to raise £147 which we will be donating to our chosen charity Headway.
