I joined Cottam Primary School in 2022 as a Year 5 Class Teacher before moving into Year 6, where I am busy preparing children for their SATs, high school and of course the residential!

Alongside my teaching responsibilities, I serve as the Geography Subject Leader, overseeing the development and implementation of the geography curriculum across the school. I also lead the Outdoor and Adventurous Curriculum, ensuring pupils have access to a broad range of enriching experiences. This year, I was appointed Personal Development Lead and joined the Senior Leadership Team, where I contribute to the strategic development of the school.

As a Staff Governor, I provide a practical and informed perspective on how school policies, curriculum developments, and strategic decisions impact both children and staff. This role enables me to represent the views of colleagues while supporting effective governance and continued school improvement.
