Book Swap & Story Evening
As part of our World Book Day celebrations, all the children were invited to stay after school for a story evening and book swap event. Children came dressed up, in comfy reading clothes, Pj's or as book characters and enjoyed listening to some new story books read by teachers from other classes and some children even got to listen to stories by our very own parent author - Mrs Walmsley. We had hot chocolate, juice and biscuits and everyone got the opportunity to swap a pre loved book for another one.
Thank you to our PTFA, Mrs Walmsley and staff for making this such a wonderful event for our children. All of the proceeds will go into purchasing new books for the children in school.
