Safeguarding Champions

Two members of each class from Year 1 - Year 6 is selected to become the class safeguarding champions.  These pupils meet with Mrs Rainford, the Designated Safeguarding Lead, at least once a term.  They discuss how safe the school feels for pupils, and ideas for improving how we keep pupils safe, happy and healthy.  

If you are worried about anything at home or at school, it’s good to talk to a trusted adult. Any adult at Cottam will help pupils.  If you feel you cannot talk to an adult, you could always speak to your class safeguarding champion who will support you to seek help.
