Music Lessons at Cottam Primary School

We are very fortunate at Cottam to have our very own specialist music teacher; Mrs Debbie Adewale.  She offers tuition for a variety of instruments for our KS2 children.

Recorder Lessons

The recorder is a perfect starter instrument. It is cheap, easy and fun to play, and it introduces the child to all the concepts of playing a musical instrument (notation, rhythmic skills, practice and perseverance). It is also very similar to the flute, clarinet and saxophone and so is a good stepping up instrument. Lessons will be in a small group for 30 minutes and will cost £5 per lesson.

Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone Lessons

Children enrolling will receive a weekly individual 30 minute lesson in a small group (maximum of 3 children) at £8 per lesson.

Keyboard Lessons

Children will receive a weekly 30 minute lesson in a small group (maximum of 4 children) at £6 per lesson.

If you would like your child to enroll for lessons, or would like further information, please email Mrs Adewale on the address below and she will contact you with further details (times, groups, advice on purchasing an instrument etc.) She will arrange a trial lesson where your child can try out the instrument/s they are interested in if needed.
