Trashion Show 2024
Trashion Show 2024
What a day we had on Friday!
We were all amazed by the amount of effort that had been put into every single outfit that was created for our first ever fashion show. We certainly have some budding fashion designers at Cottam! There really were some magnificent designs which we were all amazed by (which could be seen by the reaction on some of the children's faces!).
The whole school was invited to watch as the models walked the catwalk with some very impressive poses at the end of it (and even some strutting as they walked along!).
The eco-council had a tough time choosing a winner from each year group but eventually they came to an agreement. They will be announced during assembly this week.
The eco-council and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the children (and parents!) that created something for the Trashion Show. We know a lot of effort and time went into the creations which is really appreciated.
On Friday 7th June we will be holding our first Cottam Trashion show.
We are asking children from all year groups (with parental help!) to create an item/s of clothing using recyclable materials. This could be something as simple as a hat or bag or something larger such as a top, trousers or even a complete outfit!
A range of recyclable materials such as newspapers, plastic bottles or even crisp packets could be used to create your design.
Children will then take part in the trashion show to share their creations with the school. We will choose a winning design from each class.
If you have any questions please ask one of the eco-councillors from your class or contact Mrs Ward.
