This is a new, free NSPCC service. 

The NSPCC have launched a free new service called Building Connections for children and young people who are experiencing loneliness.  It's a 1:1 text based structured program of support for a young person (up to the age of 19) NSPCC trained adults text support, either during school time or in the evening: 8am - 8pm.  The Young person will receive 11, 1 hour sessions to help them build strategies to tackle loneliness. The link provided will give you more information on how the referral process works. 

If you think this may be useful, please speak to someone in school as at present, young people can only have the support if they are referred by a professional.
